Vintage Camper Restoration
Hello friends,
I have had an idea floating around in my head for a while that it would be fun to have a little food cart that our guest could use to serve up drinks or treats. It occurred to me that with a bit of paint and a few modifications our vintage camper would serve this purpose nicely.
So we spent a few weekends cleaning her up and restoring her exterior to make her a perfect little food cart. You can see the whole process here on our YouTube channel. If you would like to see more of what we get up to around here, please like and subscribe:)
Now for a disclaimer, this camper is in no way trying to be a licensed food truck. She is not equipped for food preparation of any kind. She is more suited for serving prepared items like cupcakes, cookies, popcorn, ice cream or cocktails.
We made this whiteboard (that looks like a chalkboard) out of a picture frame that I dug out of the basement. The whiteboard surface makes it much easier to write on and erase.
The last step was to make her a countertop that could be placed in the doorway to serve treats on.
I look forward to trying her out next year…I’m thinking pasture bar for her first official outing… Take care everyone.
