Witches in the Woods

“These woods are full of witches
Be wise and treat them well
They’re lovely & so charming
But they cast a wicked spell”

Well friends, October is in full swing. And as Halloween approaches, all the spooky creatures are starting to stir….. The days are getting shorter and the nights are growing colder. The crisp autumn air carries the sweet smell of fallen leaves that will soon turn to mud.

A coven of not so wicked witches has stopped by Fiddler’s Green to play in the woods and stir up some spookiness. They can only stay for a short spell. Because as you know, this time of year is tremendously busy for witches….

They have things to do and places to be. But before they fly off, these drop dead gorgeous lovelies have graciously agreed to let me capture a few portraits, what fun! Things have been pretty quiet around here this year with all that has been going on in the world. So naturally we are very excited to have these enchanting ladies bring a bit of magic to our woods. We feel blessed by the chance to have one last hurrah before fall turns to winter and the snow and chill force us indoors for the rest of the season.
