Fix Up During Lock Down

Hello friends! It’s been a while….. With wedding and party season having been canceled this year we haven’t had a chance to see many of you in person, and we sure have missed y’all. Being forced to close our doors for an entire season has not been ideal, but this unfortunate situation has brought with it some unique opportunities for us.

We have spent the entire summer repairing, renovating and updating the barn and property. We have also been working on our marketing and website and doing all sorts of planning for next year. We have made a ton of progress and everything is looking fantastic if I do say so myself.

Here are some of the major projects we completed this season.

• Replaced all of the barn doors (they close now)
• Finished drywalling and painting the ceiling downstairs
• Expanded the walkway behind the bar
• Completely remodeled the stage
• Updated the upstairs bar
• Replaced missing windows
• Sealed holes and cracks in the barn
• Remodeled the gazebo
• Repaired and painted the summer kitchen
• Replaced the light posts (lets try not to run them over this time friends!)
• Replaced the tables and chairs
• Built a little shack for the portapotty
• Created a new website (welcome here) and YouTube channel.

Wow, that seems like a lot when you put it all together in a list. Thankfully we had a ton of help, which we are grateful for.

Once we finished all the updates we decided it would be a great time to have some professional photos and video done. We worked with Visual Media HD and we are very happy with the results. Here is the property video they made for us.

We had really hoped that the world would be back to normal by fall, and that we would all be able to get together for an epic Hoedown, but sadly that was not to be. But next year friends….we’re gonna party like its going out of style!
